Arvand Investment and Development Company signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Iranian South Oilfields Company in the field of modernization and equipment of machinery needed by the oil, gas and petrochemical industry.
According to the public relations and international affairs department of AIDC:
“Ahmad Amani”, CEO of the company, stated: in a tripartite agreement between this company, Arvand Free Zone Organization and NISOC, it was decided to equip and modernize the machinery needed by the oil, gas and petrochemical industries in Arvand Free Zone.
He added: based on this memorandum, it was decided that in the process of import, clearance and customs formalities and maximum use of the capacity of Arvand Free Zone to ensure the facilitating and speeding up the import of goods needed by the oil industry and especially participating in the modernization of machinery and devices needed by the transport fleet and imported car parts of the NISOC.
The Managing Director of AIDC stated: also, providing experiences in facilitating customs clearance and formalities, identifying the capacities and competitive advantages of the province related to the oil field, joint cooperation to participate in the oil and gas exhibitions of the Persian Gulf countries are among the provisions of this memorandum.
He continued: cooperation to participate in the market of oil, gas and petrochemical industries in the Shalamcheh border with the focus on the supply and introduction of products produced for the first time in the country, as well as the introduction and invitation of active and large companies to register the company in Arvand Free Zone in order to import and export goods from AFZ is one of the other clauses in this agreement.
Finally, the CEO of Arvand Investment and Development Company stated: cooperation to hold and attend commercial and economic tours and conferences, holding and supporting conferences, festivals, seminars, conferences, exhibitions and specialized scientific workshops related to the field of oil and gas to introduce investment capacities in projects in the southern oil-rich regions for investors from the Gulf countries. Fars and the access and application of modern knowledge and technology in the field of oil were other things that will be implemented in this tripartite partnership.
