Ahmad Amani, the CEO of Arvand Investment and Development Company announced the organization of 2, 8, and 13 hectares of Shalamcheh yards with the aim of economic development and job creation.

According to the public relations department of Arvand Investment and Development Company; Announcing this news, Amani said: In line with domestic job creation, the welfare of pilgrims, investors and businesspersons who pass through Shalamcheh border, during the conclusion of 3 memorandums of organization of 2, 8 and 13 hectares areas of Shalamcheh and the exploitation of the facilities of said areas were placed in the agenda of Arvand Investment and Development Company.

Explaining the priority of this company’s work in the mentioned areas, he stated: Regulating the loading docks and parking lot for Iraqi cars, organizing loading dock workers, setting up concourses and deli stores, deploying expert staff to manage the terminals, are only a part of the measures being implemented in the 2, 8, and 13 hectare yards of Shalamcheh.

Amani further said: separating the 2-hectare area with concrete Jersey barrier to control and record traffic statistics of Iranian and Iraqi vehicles on a daily basis with the system located in Shalamcheh and repairing the sanitary facilities are also among the other things specified in this contract, which is in the implementation phase. According to this report, the CEO of Arvand Investment and Development Company announced the implementation of more plans for the development of the mentioned areas in the coming days.
